Accounts Payable Analyst

Accounts Payable Analyst 

Role Contribution Level 2

Your seat at the table

• Collaborates with internal departments to gather, interpret, analyze, and rectify the accrual report for both the US and Canada.
• Reconciles any discrepancies identified and proposes resolution.
• Works closely with plant receiving teams and buyers to resolve missing receipts on purchase orders, incorrect units of measure, and pricing variances.
• Follows up on account statements and other discrepancies regarding payment of accounts and serves as liaison between departments and vendors in the resolution of problems and inquiries.
• Obtains statements from vendors, reviews statements for credits, and works with vendors to recover any funds owed to us.
• Assist with escheatment processes.
• Performs miscellaneous ad hoc duties to support the business as assigned.

What you bring to the table

• Excellent collaboration and communication abilities.
• Problem-solving mindset.
• In-depth knowledge of accounts payables principles.
• Able to analyze and understand purchase orders as well as inventory dispositions.
• Experience in vendor reconciliations.
• Time management and organizational skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• Associate’s degree in accounting or business preferred or comparable experience.
• Three+ years accounts payable experience in a high volume, fast-paced environment.
