As the VP of Product at Vahan, you will be at the helm of defining and driving our product vision and strategy, ensuring alignment with the company’s goals and vision. You will lead a dynamic team, guiding them to build products that empower India’s blue-collar workforce. Your focus will be on scaling our products, innovating with cutting-edge technologies, and crafting user experiences that are not just functional but delightful.

What You Will Be Doing:

• Define Product Vision & Strategy: Set and drive the product vision and roadmap, ensuring alignment with company goals and delivering on key business metrics.

• Lead Product Development: Oversee the end-to-end product lifecycle from discovery to launch, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality solutions that resonate with our users.

• User-Centric Product Development: Dive deep into user insights and collaborate with design and engineering teams to develop seamless, user-friendly products that solve real problems and enhance engagement.

• Inspire & Grow Teams: Build and mentor a strong product team, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.

• Scale with Impact: Leverage your experience in scaling products to guide Vahan’s growth, identifying opportunities for expansion and market leadership.

• Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Partner with engineering, design, and business teams to ensure cohesive and seamless product execution.

• Optimize Through Data: Use data and analytics to drive product decisions, continually iterating to improve performance and impact.

• Foster Strategic Relationships: Engage with key stakeholders to align product initiatives with broader business strategies.

• Market Analysis & Growth: Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify new opportunities for growth and product expansion.

• Measure & Iterate: Set clear, measurable goals for the product team, using data and user feedback to iterate and refine product features.

You will thrive in this role if you:

• Bring 10-15 years of experience in product management, leading high performance teams and scaling them from 1-10 or 10-100.

• Have a deep understanding of user-centric design and a passion for creating products that delight customers.

• Are experienced in leading cross-functional teams and managing complex projects with a focus on delivering tangible business outcomes.

• Possess excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence and align teams around a common vision.

• Are data-driven, with strong analytical skills and a keen ability to turn insights into actionable strategies.

• Thrive in a startup environment, comfortable with ambiguity and adept at navigating change with agility and resilience.
