AvantGarde, LLC (AG) seeks to engage a Senior Human Resources Specialist (Labor Relations) who supports the AG client at the United States Capitol Police (USCP), a Legislative Branch agency, in the Office of Human Resources providing analytical and advisory support related to labor relations.
AG offers a comprehensive benefit package including a monthly commuter benefit as well as immediate 401k and medical enrollment. This is a Full-time position, 40 hours per week, M-F, four days of remote work, only one day per week onsite at the USCP Fairchild Building in Southwest DC .

The United States Capitol Police has been an AG client since FY14, supporting the offices of HR, Security, OIS and the Chief Administrative Officer.
USCP is a fast-paced agency with a unique mission and challenges. USCP is in the Legislative Branch of the Federal Government. As such, it has an operating style different than most Executive Branch agencies. The Capitol Police is a lean organization with high priorities. Suitable candidates must be able to work at an optimal level in support of achieving the goals of the organization.
