<p><strong>QUALIFICATIONS</strong> <strong>AND</strong> <strong>EXPERIENCES</strong> <strong>REQUIRED</strong></p><p><strong>Academic Qualifications:</strong></p><p> Bachelor’s degree in engineering (chemical, petroleum, industrial, mechanical) with 10 years of experience oil and gas industry.</p><p><strong>Experience Required:</strong></p><p> Main qualities required for the position: dynamism, autonomous, ability to communicate/convince, rigor, critical and analytical mind.</p><p> Good level in English recommended.</p><p> Pedagogic, coordination and communication skills.</p><p> Knowledge of the equipment and processes used in the operation of petroleum facilities in Exploration and Production.</p><p> Previous site experience as a superintendent or senior operations supervisor</p><p><strong>ACTIVITIES:</strong></p><p><strong>In accordance with policies and procedures in place in EACOP, The Production Superintendent is </strong><strong>responsible for:</strong></p><p> Organizing and coordinating the operations within the perimeter for operators.</p><p> Achieves the treatment objectives by guaranteeing the safety of people, the environment and property.</p><p> Updating the procedures for shutdown, start-up, and release of facilities.</p><p> Supervising safety system inhibition operations, monitoring of readings and periodic tests.</p><p> Enforcing the adjustments imposed by the operating instructions.</p><p> Assists the Terminal Manager to coordinate the daily operations meeting and prepare site activities in collaboration with the Maintenance team.</p><p> Initiating pre-diagnosis of malfunctions and making proposals to improve safety conditions in terminal operations.</p><p> Issuing daily operating instructions in accordance with the program's objectives and the instructions given to him/her by the Maintenance Superintendent.</p><p> Validating the procedures for making equipment and installations available.</p><p> Validating the personnel schedule in accordance with EACOP rules and the specific site rules</p><p> Prepares or arranges for the preparation of Work Permits as Operational Authority</p><p> Preparing programmed shutdowns of installations by drafting procedures and prepare operations.</p><p> Preparation of draft Daily Site Operations report for Operating Perimeter 4</p><p><strong>During Construction Phase:</strong></p><p><strong>Core activities:</strong></p><p> Becoming familiar with the project documentation (Safety concept, Operating philosophy, Operating Manual,</p><p>Cause-and-effect diagrams, etc.).</p><p> Updating the operating manual and start-up procedures (as Terminal SU-Lead).</p><p> Attending commissioning activities to identify the main site equipment and ensuring their full availability.</p><p>Lists, checks and then orders in agreement with the Terminal Manager the equipment necessary for start-up.</p><p> Assists the DSA in setting up the procedures necessary for the proper functioning of the site (work permit,</p><p>isolation, access to the LOF and the storage tank area, internal rules).</p><p><strong>(During Commissioning / Start-up Phase):</strong></p><p> Attending commissioning activities to identify the main site equipment and ensuring their full availability.</p><p> To supervise the implementation of the initial start-up procedures</p><p> To supervise the monitoring of all the installation parameters at all stages of the start-up phase to ensure the</p><p>safe ramp-up of crude oil export / transportation.</p><p> To ensure the punch list clearance action plan is issued and validated.</p><p> To ensure the start-up risk assessment is carried out and results considered in implementation of the start-up</p><p>procedures.</p><p> To prepare requisition for equipment, instruments, special tools for operations personnel</p><p> To ensure formal hand-over of systems from Project to EACOP Field Operations as Terminal Start-Up Lead</p><p> To carry out the performance tests as per contract under safe conditions</p> •
