Senior Purview Developer

• 8-10 years of seasoned experience as a software engineer.
• 5+ years of hands-on involvement in configuring and implementing Data Governance products on cloud platforms.

• REST APIs
• Programming paradigms: Java, Python, C#
• Cloud ecosystems: Microsoft Azure, AWS, Google Cloud Platform
• Data governance toolkits: Microsoft Purview, Collibra, Informatica Axon, among others.
• Data security solutions: Azure Security Center, AWS IAM, Google Cloud IAM
• Regulatory compliance in data: HIPAA, GDPR, CCPA
• An adept ability to transition business requirements into actionable Purview configurations.

• Gather, organize, and document metadata and data-related information, ensuring streamlined data discovery and governance.
• Utilize Microsoft Purview for data discovery and classification across on-premises and cloud platforms.
• Design the data lineage process innovatively, ensuring transparent tracking of data from its source to destination.
• Architect and implement stringent data security policies, with a focus on access control and encryption.
• Configure and optimize Purview features such as Scan, Search, and Update, aiming for an unparalleled user experience and system performance.
• Design and engineer high-speed APIs.
• Engage deeply in solution architecture to shape a comprehensive product experience, facilitating users to create, collaborate, and monitor curated data.
• Provide mentorship to junior developers, imparting best practices and fostering team growth.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to deeply understand and cater to their data necessities.
• As an integral member of the Solution Architecture team, ensure consistent alignment with existing cloud platform models and standards.
• Strategically design Microsoft Purview configurations to discern and categorize sensitive data, such as PII, and establish robust security protocols.
