Responsibilities:
- Software Development Workflow: Manage and coordinate software development projects, with a focus on agile methodologies. Experience with writing user stories is a plus.
- Agile Expertise: Knowledge of agile principles and practices, including Scrum, is a strong advantage.
- Remote Team Coordination: Collaborate effectively with a partially offshore team, coordinating efforts across different time zones.
- Project Progress: Keep projects moving forward, ensuring tasks are completed according to schedule, and providing clear direction to the team.
- SDLC Understanding: Familiarity with the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and the ability to oversee projects from initiation to completion.
Pay Rate: 42.00-45.00$/Hour
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Previous experience as a Project Manager, particularly in software development projects.
- Knowledge of agile methodologies and the ability to write and manage user stories.
- Scrum experience is a plus but not required.
- Strong communication and coordination skills, especially when working with a distributed team.
- Proactive and detail-oriented, with the ability to keep projects on track.
- Mid-level experience is preferred, but a strong understanding of project management is more important than extensive experience.
- Ability to work with an off-shore team in India
