The individual in this role will be responsible for communicating with key accounts regarding warranties, analyzing claim data, and monitoring market warranty information.
Key Accountabilities
-Responsible for handling tasks regarding warranties for new and current products
-Communicates with Key Accounts, regional and global Headquarters, Research & Development members as well as other company engineers
-Analyzes internal claim data and reports data to managers and executives
-Monitoring market information and share the information with management
-Communicating with key accounts and supporting them technically in regards to product warranty
-Processing key account product return data
-Researching and benchmarking competitors warranty programs
-Partner with new product development engineers to establish warranty program of Hankook products
-Communicate and support field engineers in Americas (including subsidiaries, offices)
-Technically support, guide and advise Hankook engineers throughout warranty claims
-Instruct and audit American subsidiaries & offices on quality and service process implementations
-Develop and update field services tools and printed materials for technical services
-Responsible for market monitoring and data analysis
-Analyze service return data for North America and South America and report the results with opinions and suggestions
-Conduct market research and report various information of products, services, regulations and competitors
-Any other duties/responsibilities as assigned by Management
Level of Accountabilities
-As a key account counterpart, this person has authorizations as below:
-Communicate with key accounts, HK subsidiaries & Offices, Global Headquarters, and Hankook's Research & Development team
-Process key account claim data in SAP
-Develop and update warranty program as for Americas markets
-Monitor and audit service process of HK subsidiaries and offices
-Instruct service engineers with best solutions in regards to requests of quality/service from customer/markets
-Report analysis result of claim data and market information such as competitors, regulations regarding to quality and product to manager
-Cooperate with marketing team to develop and update service tools and printed materials
Qualification
-Bachelor's degree required
-Bachelor's degree in Engineering or high level technical degree preferred
-Experience in Tire industry or related industries preferred
-Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel & Power Point) required
-Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred
-Strong verbal and written communication skills required
-Strong Analytical & Organizational skills required
-Available to occasionally travel throughout the United States, Canada, Mexico, Central & South America
