Our financial institutions team is growing, and we're looking for a Marketing Manager to help ideate and take charge of our marketing, branding, and go-to-market initiatives. As the company is a start-up, this role is somewhat undefined and we are more focused on finding someone with a specific attitude and skill set rather than a particular resume or current title. We're seeking someone who is detail-oriented, resourceful, curious, and who has the ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment. This is an in-office role, five days a week, with some travel involved. ABOUT THIS ROLE
As part of the role, you'll collaborate closely with executives, work across branding and partner marketing, oversee social media, test different messaging, and participate in on-site training and client engagement among other things. You will play a critical role in developing, executing, and monitoring marketing strategies for both B2B and B2B2C channels.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
- Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies across B2B and B2B2C channels
- Drive brand awareness and engagement by creating compelling messaging, campaigns, and assets that resonate with our target audience
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of the credit union and fintech industries, including trends, challenges, and the competitive landscape
- Collaborate with sales, partner management, product, and operations to ensure alignment on product launches, growth and retention efforts
- Work closely with internal client-facing teams in understanding and evaluating new marketing tactics, optimization opportunities, and/or creating new opportunities for revenue generation
- Utilize data-driven insights to evaluate campaign performance, optimize strategies, and identify improvement opportunities
- Display strong attention to detail and organization in the execution of creative briefs, process documents, performance tracking requirements, optimization and testing documentation, channel partner workflows, and client-facing documents
- Measure, report, and communicate the success of marketing initiatives utilizing metrics and engagement data
- This role will report to the EVP of Operations and will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to align marketing initiatives with overall business objectives and ensure a cohesive brand experience
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field with 2-4 years of relevant experience
- Fluency with marketing tools and technology like Salesforce, Canva, Figma, PowerPoint, and campaign management tools
- Understanding of Credit Unions, Banks, and Fintechs is preferred
- Experience working cross-functionally with with multiple teams as well as with client-facing teams
- Demonstrated data-driven approach to optimizing campaign performance and decision-making
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced, collaborative, and high-growth environment with the ability to adjust to changing priorities and make tradeoffs when guidance is limited and information incomplete
- Excellent organization, communication, and analytical sales
- Team player first and foremost with strong communication skills and a get-it-done approach
- Must be willing to work full-time in New York City; this is not a remote role
- Availability to travel to events, onsite meetings, and campaign activations
- The expected base salary range for this position is $90,000-$135,000 with an equity component as well
