ENTER THE GAME

To support Betclic’s growth, we are looking for our future Head of Safer Gaming projects, with the mission to lead and deliver all our strategic projects aimed at protecting our players, across all markets.

Within the Safer Gaming department, the Strategic Projects team’s mission is to drive and deliver our most critical and impactful initiatives, aimed at improving player protection on a daily basis (defining support schemes for players, imagining new moderation or protection tools, making analyses and reports for our regulators, etc.). Many thrilling topics, which make every day different than the previous one!

YOUR ROLE WITHIN BETCLIC

In this context, your missions are as follows:

  • Strategy
    • Contribute to the definition of Betclic’s Safer Gaming strategy to guarantee best-in-class player protection over the long run
    • Monitor and research trends in the customer protection field to identify new ideas and good practice for Betclic to capitalize on
    • Translate strategy into actionable projects with identified internal and external stakeholders
    • Foster innovation within the department and the company to keep on improving Betclic’s player protection
  • Project management
    • Build and pilot project roadmaps for all Safer Gaming-related initiatives
    • Guarantee on-time, high-quality delivery, with direct (for major, critical projects) on indirect contribution to the projects
    • Build and pilot project management reporting and communicate progress to top management
  • Stakeholder management
    • Lead all analyses and reports for our main stakeholders (regulator, shareholder, auditors, etc.) with the support of our different teams, including the data team
    • Be main point of contact for our external partnerships and collaborations (researchers, associations, etc.)
    • Embody the Safer gaming department within the company and promote our values during major events like the Safer Gaming week
  • Management
    • Build and manage a team of 2 experienced project managers, fostering a strong team culture aligned with Betclic's goals and values
    • Be part of the department’s senior management team and contribute to its development

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

We're looking for colleagues with a good sense of humor, respect, and kindness, a love for sport, a bit of zeal, and a real passion for their profession!

This job is for you if you have:

  • A Master’s degree from a top engineering or business school (HEC, Essec, ESCP, X, Mines, Centrale, etc.) or from a 1st-tier university (Sciences Po, etc.)
  • A solid track record (6 years+) in project management or any other relevant position (consulting, CRM, data analysis) preferably in a fast-paced, international environment
  • At least one successful management experience
  • Strong analytical skills that you leverage to inform decision-making and strategy formulation
  • A deeply customer-oriented culture
  • An obsession for quality and detail
  • The ability to lead and develop a team, fostering a player-centric culture.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills,
  • An ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including Product, Tech, Operations and data.
  • An ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-changing environment, managing multiple priorities and projects simultaneously and with resilience
  • Full fluency in English and French

WHAT ARE THE RECRUITMENT STEPS?

  • If your application is selected, Elodie will contact you within 2 weeks to conduct an HR prequalification interview (30 minutes).
  • You will be asked to complete the AssessFirst Test, which evaluates your personality, motivations, and reasoning abilities.
  • You will have an interview with Nicolas, the Strategic program Director and your potential future manager
  • You will then have an interview with Julien, the Chief Operating Officer
  • Elodie will conduct a final HR interview where you will also discuss the results of your AssessFirst Test.

To provide an ideal candidate experience, the Betclic recruitment process typically lasts 4 to 8 weeks
