About the Role
Location: Remote, United States
Duration: 9/1/24-10/15/24 (6 weeks)
Reports To: Curriculum Team Manager
Compensation: $80-$100 per hour (10-20 hours per week)

CodePath is seeking a Curriculum Advisor to advise planning of an experimental new course design that combines teaching core CS2 topics with practical Technical Interview preparation, using Python 3. This role would provide their expert advice on the topics, scope, and pacing of this course, working closely with both our internal Curriculum Team, external stakeholders, and content creators.
Please note: This role is a planning and advisory role, not a content creation role. If desired, any candidate can also be eligible to apply for our “Content Creator” position.
Key Activities
Quickly familiarize themselves with CodePath’s existing Technical Interview Prep (TIP) courses
Meet weekly with the Curriculum Team to make recommendations on topics, scope, and pacing of the new course
Draft unit plans, sample units, and sample course content as needed to present ideas
Qualifications
Computer science (or related field) degree, full stack bootcamp certification, or comparable experience working in/learning software development
Strong understanding of CS2 topics (OOP, data structures and algorithms) commonly covered in technical interviews
Experience in either administering or designing a “technical interview process” to evaluate potential entry-level software developers
A passion for training the next generation of developers and some experience teaching in an educational, volunteer or work settings
(Preferred) Object-oriented programming experience in Python 3
(Preferred) Degree or equivalent experience in instructional design, post-secondary education, or similar
