Sharepoint Developer (Secret Clearance)

Job Title: SharePoint Developer (Mid-Level) - DoD Experience Required
Location: Washington D.C. (required to go to Pentagon daily)

The SharePoint Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining SharePoint solutions for [Company/Organization]. This role requires expertise in SharePoint development, with a focus on projects within the Department of Defense (DoD). The ideal candidate possesses a Top Secret Clearance and has a proven track record of successfully delivering SharePoint solutions in a DoD environment.

Key Responsibilities:

1. SharePoint Development:
   • Design, develop, and deploy custom SharePoint solutions based on organizational requirements.
   • Customize SharePoint sites using SharePoint Designer, Visual Studio, and other relevant tools.
   • Implement workflows, forms, and web parts to enhance the functionality of SharePoint sites.
2. DoD Expertise:
   • Demonstrate a deep understanding of DoD processes, workflows, and compliance requirements.
   • Provide subject matter expertise in DoD-specific SharePoint solutions and best practices.
3. Security Clearance:
   • Must have an Active Top-Secret Clearance and ensure compliance with all security protocols and procedures.
4. Collaboration and Communication:
   • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, project managers, and system administrators, to gather requirements and deliver solutions.
   • Communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders effectively.
5. Troubleshooting and Support:
   • Identify and resolve technical issues related to SharePoint solutions.
   • Provide end-user support and training as needed.
6. Documentation:
   • Create and maintain technical documentation, including system design, configuration, and deployment documents.
7. Continuous Learning:
   • Stay updated on emerging trends and technologies in SharePoint development and the DoD environment.

Qualifications:

• Top Secret Clearance is mandatory.
• Local to DMV Area and able to commute to the Pentagon on a daily basis.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in SharePoint development, with a focus on DoD projects.
• Proficient in SharePoint Designer, Visual Studio, and other relevant development tools.
• Demonstrated knowledge of architecting SharePoint Online, experience with Microsoft Power Platform, knowledge of C#, .NET and possess good communication skills.
• Strong knowledge of SharePoint architecture, web parts, workflows, and security.
• Experience writing SQL queries.
• Experience developing SPFx extensions.
• Experience with SharePoint Online and Office 365 is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
