Seeking a Technical Copywriter to produce high-quality, accurate, and engaging content. In this newly established role, you will play a pivotal part in translating complex technical information into clear, concise, and impactful content that resonates with industry experts, bolstering our product launches and marketing campaigns.

This is a standalone role, reporting directly to our Marketing Manager. You will work collaboratively with various internal specialists. Prior experience within a technical writing or copywriting role is essential. This position is full-time, Monday to Friday, with some flexibility on start and finish times, and occasional remote working available.

What You’ll Do:

  • Produce, edit, and proofread technical content, including product descriptions, user manuals, white papers, and technical blog posts, as well as marketing collateral such as PR, brochures, articles, and social media outreach.
  • Adapt your writing style to suit each piece of content and the platform it's published on, ensuring the tone is appropriate and consistent with the company’s branding, as well as technical specifications.
  • You will ensure content is optimised for use across various platforms, including our website, social media channels, and various marketing materials.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and compliance with company and industry standards.
  • Implement SEO best practices within technical content to enhance search engine visibility and drive traffic.
  • Work closely with engineers, product managers, and the marketing team to gather technical information and ensure content aligns with the company’s branding and technical specifications.
  • Contribute to the development and execution of content strategies that support product launches and marketing campaigns.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitor content, to ensure our materials remain relevant and highly competitive.
  • Assist in managing content within content management systems (CMS), ensuring that all content is up-to-date and easily accessible.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Prior experience in a technical writing or copywriting role, preferably within the technology industry.
  • Familiarity with technical products, concepts, and terminologies, with the ability to translate complex ideas into clear and concise content.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading abilities with a meticulous attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and maintain high-quality standards in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Understanding of SEO principles and experience in applying them to technical content.
  • Degree in English, Communications, Technical Writing, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field would be beneficial.
  • Experience with content management systems (CMS) would be beneficial.

Benefits & Perks:

  • Casual office environment, dress down every day.
  • Subsidised office lunches that promote healthy eating and encourage you to try something new.
  • Flexible working hours and occasional remote working.
  • Continuous development budget for courses, training, and conferences.
  • Private health insurance with AXA Health, covering physical and mental health, including dental and vision cashback.
  • Gym membership discounts via AXA Health.
  • Group life insurance and a 24/7 Employee Assistance Program (EAP).
  • Cycle to Work scheme – we’ll buy a bike upfront, and you can pay it off over the next 12 months via a salary sacrifice scheme.
  • Occasional in-person office socials to build deeper connections with peers.
  • 33 days base holiday (25 days + 8 bank holidays) including company closure between Christmas and New Year.

Interview Process:

Please include samples of your writing in your application, showcasing your ability to produce concise technical content. Our interviews are informal and conversational, typically carried out over a 3-stage process.

To help us understand your workplace behaviours and preferences, you will be invited to complete a short Predictive Index (PI) Behavioural and Cognitive Assessment as part of this process.
