Pair Eyewear is looking for a Cycle Counter to perform daily inventory counts across our raw material stock and ensure Pair is maintaining reliable inventory records fundamental for proper financial control.  In this role you will oversee the accuracy of raw material inventory positions, report on variances and qualitative issues, and resolve discrepancies that require further investigation.  You will also work cross-functionally with the Logistics, Finance, Production, and Planning teams to validate open questions on inventory levels as needed and assist in root cause analysis for larger variances discovered.  This position will be based out of our production facility in Irvine, CA and will report directly to our Inventory Control Specialist.

Shift: 2nd shift, 2:30pm-11pm

What You’ll Do:

  • Perform daily cycle counts across all categories of raw material, covering both long-term reserve rack inventory as well as short-term stock in pick bins
  • Record discrepancies within ERP system, ensuring accuracy in final count reporting
  • Report on variances and other qualitative issues (mislabels, incorrect locations, defective product) discovered during the counting process
  • Adhere to strict counting schedule and coverage requirements, ensuring that timelines are met for counting each class of inventory at the required frequency within a calendar year
  • Research the root cause of misplaced inventory units and perform corrective system adjustments
  • Work with the Planning, Production, and Inventory Control team to bin check variances on an ad hoc basis and make corrective adjustments as needed
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Need to Have:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • 1-2 years of experience in inventory control or stock counting, preferably in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.
  • Ability to lift 30+ pounds.
  • Able to stand for long periods (8 hours).
  • Strong understanding of supply chain workflows.
  • Proficiency in Google Drive and MS Office Suite, including Excel.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience working in Netsuite or similar ERP system strongly preferred, with specific experience performing inventory transactions and adjustments.  
  • Experience with RF Smart a plus.
  • Previous experience using scissor lifts and electric pallet jacks is a plus.

At Pair, we carefully consider a wide range of factors when determining compensation. These considerations can cause your compensation to vary. The pay range for this position is expected to be between $18.00 - $20.00/hr and will depend on your skills, qualifications, and experience. Additionally, this role might be eligible for discretionary short-term and long-term incentives. We encourage all interested candidates to apply.
