<p><strong>Location:</strong> Morogoro, Mbeya, Dar es Salaam, Tabora, Mwanza, Arusha<br><strong>Reporting to:</strong> Freelancer Channel Head<br><strong>Team:</strong> Team-leaders & Freelancers (within different zones)</p><p><strong>Role Overview</strong></p><p>The Freelancer Channel Lead will be responsible for driving walk-out smartphone sales through a network of freelance sales agents and their team leaders across multiple locations in Tanzania. This role requires supervisory leadership, operational excellence, and strong coordination with team-leaders and freelancers ensuring sales targets are achieved.</p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><p><strong>Strategic Leadership</strong></p><ul> <li>Implement a comprehensive strategy for the freelancer channel to maximize sales in their zones.</li> <li>Assist the Channel Head with inputs and feedback to craft the strategy. </li> <li>Identify and prioritize market opportunities for walk-out sales based on demand, competition, and product relevance.</li></ul><p><strong>Team Management</strong></p><ul> <li>Lead and manage the team-leaders and freelancers ensuring effective execution of sales plans. </li> <li>Monitor KPIs and performance metrics for the team, provide guidance and training to build a high-performing sales team.</li></ul><p><strong>Freelancer Network Development</strong></p><ul> <li>Responsible for recruitment, onboarding, and training of freelance sales agents and team-leaders. </li> <li>Create a productive and motivated freelance workforce through consistent communication, rewards programs, and performance incentives.</li> <li>Ensure freelancers are equipped with the necessary sales tools, product knowledge, and customer engagement techniques.</li></ul><p><strong>Sales & Performance Management</strong></p><ul> <li>Drive sales performance across zones, ensuring monthly, quarterly, and annual targets are met.</li> <li>Analyse sales data to identify trends, challenges, and opportunities, using insights to refine strategies.</li> <li>Manage budgets and resource allocation for freelancer channel activities</li></ul><p><strong>Stakeholder Collaboration</strong></p><ul> <li>Coordinate with store and logistics teams to ensure product availability and timely delivery to freelancers.</li></ul><p><strong>Qualifications & Experience</strong></p><ul> <li>Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.</li> <li>Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in sales leadership roles, preferably within the smartphone or device finance companies like <strong>Sunking</strong> and <strong>D.light</strong>.</li> <li>Proven experience managing large teams and driving sales performance in a decentralized setup.</li> <li>Familiarity with the local market, particularly in sales and distribution dynamics.</li></ul><p><br></p> •
