Title – Senior Data Analytics - Business System AnalystLocation – San Jose, CAJob Role:As a Senior Data Analytics Business system analyst for the Data warehousing team , work with our internal Business units (Finance & Global Analytics team) to build scalable data solutions to meet their requirements. This would involve understanding the requirement and proposing solutions with system capacity and data instrumentation in mind. This will also include identifying alignments and gaps between the request and what is presently in the system. Document solutions of varying complexity in both layman's terms as well as with technical information for the engineering team to work with. This position will involve Validation of data once the ETL/Engineering team has completed the development, work with the requestors to complete UAT signoff . Documenting the request and the solution ( we use confluence pages).
Skills: ( listed not in any particular order)- Analytical skills : problem solving, handling multiple complex projects at one time etc
- SQL is a must( high proficiency). Preferably in Teradata but any SQL platform like Oracle, MySQL also ok
- Good and clear articulation of thought /communication.
Able to talk to business, Business gathering , able to come up with POC, Design solutions
