We have an exciting opportunity for a Field Application Scientist, ideally to be based in the San Francisco Bay Area at SPT Labtech. You will be part of the global FAS team which serves as the key interface between the sales team, Marketing and end-users and will provide expert-level support for our liquid handling suite of products.

About the role:
We are looking for a personable, well-organized scientist with a strong background in at least one, and interest in all of the applications in which our instruments are used. The role will require significant travel throughout the West USA, with occasional travel to the East USA and our UK headquarters. The role requires working with colleagues from across multiple time zones and territories, requiring some flexibility in meeting schedules, but as our FAS team are home-based, there will be flexibility in scheduling appointments with customers and colleagues, allowing for a balance in work and personal responsibilities.
