The role:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Payments Product Manager to join our payments product team. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in payments and more specifically experience working with bank rails payment rails i.e ACH, FedWires, RTP and FedNow . Experience in fintech environments is highly desirable. The Payments Product Manager will be responsible for the end-to-end lifecycle of our payment products, ensuring they meet market demands and regulatory requirements while driving growth and innovation for us and our clients.
We are on a journey to create a cloud-powered financial platform that democratizes access to financial services for our clients and their customers. You will help shape our current product investments to create a more modern payment hub cloud based offering that helps solve the payment needs of our B2C and B2B clients and help them innovate.
To be successful, you’ll need to bridge technical and business worlds, engaging with matrixed teams including engineering, design, sales, operations, finance, legal, risk, compliance, and other product managers. You'll define and prioritize features, and drive internal stakeholder and external partner engagements necessary for the delivery of products and solutions that enable our clients to power the next generation of companies.
In this role you will be expected to independently interface and drive discussions and decisions with stakeholders from product, engineering, various business units and operations.
What you’ll do:
- Lead the development and enhancement of payment products across multiple bank rails (ACH, Wires, RTP & FedNow) aligned with the strategy. You will drive multiple key results or a broader initiative / objective influencing payments product strategy and direction across multi-quarter outlook.
- Drive capabilities & stakeholder buy-in that likely span beyond immediate team and effectively navigate across multiple organizations & external partners
- Synthesize inputs and data from multiple sources (data analysis, market research, client insights, finance, etc) to build strategic rationale that advocates for long term customer value.
- Deliver oral and written artifacts that drive clarity to product execution (e.g. through clear articulation of product strategy, roadmaps, product requirements, status and analytics reports etc) while applying appropriate mediums that reflect urgency and audience needs (e.g. async slacks, google docs, decks, and emails vs synchronous meetings).
- Work with internal project stakeholders from marketing, sales, operations to translate customer needs into meaningful products
- Lead engagements with external stakeholders including financial institutions, fintech clients and technology partners to advance product improvements and innovative solutions
- Communicate product vision, roadmaps, and progress to senior management and other key stakeholders.
- Own the product life cycle from business strategy and ideation to Go-to-Market (e.g. drives long term product planning, end-to-end execution, and appropriate roadmap rebasing against deliverables) and drive accountability to execution timelines and deliverables by actively managing backlog with immediate team partners, maintaining x-functional stakeholder alignment, and setting expectations and leading change management
- Monitor product performance metrics, user adoption, and customer satisfaction.
- Identify and implement continuous improvements to optimize product performance and user experience.
What you’ll need:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science, or a related field and 8+ years of related experience OR Master’s degree and 6+ years of related experience
- Deep expertise in one or more bank rails i.e. ACH , FedWire, RTP and FedNow. Understanding of AFT/OCTs is a plus.
- Proven track record of successfully managing and launching payment products.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams.
- Strong understanding of fintech ecosystems and experience working in fintech environments.
- Ability to work with remote teams
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
Compensation and Benefits
The base pay range for this role is listed below. Final base pay offer will be determined based on individual factors such as the candidate’s experience, skills, and location.

US-Based Base Compensation
$145,000—$220,500 USD
