About the Role:
As the Director of Product at HSP Group, you will spearhead the execution of their GXM/Gateway product strategy, leading the charge in building a suite of innovative products meeting the needs of the global expansion management (GXM) market. This role involves steering the product delivery organization, encompassing product management, business analysis, and customer experience teams, to deliver solutions that drive growth and meet the evolving needs of their customers, partners and internal teams. Additionally, you will be the senior product manager for the delivery of new GXM/Gateway applications.
Responsibilities:
- Define and implement a comprehensive product strategy that aligns with the company's multi-faceted vision and goals.
- Build and manage the product delivery organization, including product management, business analysis, and customer experience teams.
- Foster strong relationships with key stakeholders, driving alignment up, across, and down the organization to ensure cohesive efforts and optimized impact.
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for product success and team performance, making adjustments to strategies as needed.
- Build and enhance product management practices around agile and scrum methodologies.
- Oversee the product lifecycle from ideation to launch and beyond, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, market-responsive products that drive revenue.
- Lead cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment, encouraging innovation, agility, and customer-centricity in product development.
- Ensure adherence to best practices in product development methodologies, such as Agile or Scrum, and foster continuous learning and improvement within the team.
- Provide product management for one or more GXM Gateway modules as need to support the product roadmap.
- Collaborate with market research, sales, and data teams to validate product concepts and make data-driven decisions.
- Engage with customers and internal teams to collect and incorporate user feedback into product development.
- Drive innovation by staying abreast of market trends, competitor movements, and technological advancements (including emerging AI applications) that can be leveraged for product enhancement.
Qualifications:
- Five or more years of experience in product management or leading product development.
- Ability to create and execute product strategies and strategic vision.
- Ability to lead initiatives and establish production goals across various teams.
- Familiar with product management software and related tools, including Jira, Confluence and Product Board.
- Demonstrated ability to support multiple products and projects simultaneously.
- Ability to develop and deliver presentations to diverse stakeholder groups, including internal and external customers, executive teams,
- Experience working with and managing development vendors and contracted staff.
- Background in complex service industries such as financial services or healthcare is highly preferred. Bonus for payroll, HR, or global employee expansion experience.
