Role description: To handle various plant level project deployment activities as per schedule and of desired quality
Responsibilities:
- Understand application end-to-end process steps
- Understand training and testing requirements/ documents and execution process
- Conduct local key user trainings
- Conduct plant fit-gap analysis and report statistics to central project core team
- Conduct User Acceptance Testing at the plant, record gaps/ issues, coordinate with central project core team and ensure closure of gaps/ issues
- Execute plant go-live readiness activities, help key users and other plant users to execute their activities timely and efficiently
- Track gaps and issues all through the deployment cycle and report to central project core team
- Understand and track gaps, escalate regularly to project core team
- Participate in milestone gate reviews and regular status reviews
Job Specification:
Educational requirements: Bachelor's degree in any stream Work experience:
- 2-4 years of work experience in any industry, preferably in manufacturing industry or as an IT Analyst
- Prior IT experience is preferable
Skills/ knowledge required:
- Excellent ability to learn new skills, grasp business process steps and other deployment toolkit quickly and be able to perform process steps in the ERP application
- Good communication skills to be able to engage with local key users and other stakeholders
- Energetic and enthusiastic to be able to interact with key business users, understand plant processes and needs and ensure project schedules are met
- Strong achiever, motivated and focused to deliver on time and of high quality
- Well-organized and methodical to be able to organize, track, report various project activities at plant level
- Prior ERP exposure is preferable
- Prior IT project implementation/ deployment exposure is highly preferable
Travel: Should be willing to travel 80-90% of time
Language:
- Good English (written and spoken) is a must
