Sr. Systems Analyst

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

Assesses configuration options to meet requirements and specifications.

Applies increasing knowledge in systems features and technology standards.

Works closely with business stakeholders to understand process and functional requirements.

Documents technical solutions to identified problems.

Engages with solution architect and engineers to design/configure solutions.

Assists in testing and handhold business stakeholders during UAT.

Updates technical specs based on testing, prioritized defects or post-release lessons learned.

Supports communication for application/system deployment.

Champions best practices around data standards, policies, and procedures.

Qualifications, Skills, Experience and Personal Requirements:

Education and/or strong work experience in Information Technology or a related field.

Has a good understanding of software development practices and project life cycles.

5+ years as Systems or Business Analyst; 6+ years in IT; Experience in a retail environment is preferred.

May be required to have working knowledge on package-specific configurations and related deployment.

Has good understanding of development platforms (package and/or custom) within a functional domain.

Understanding of technological trends and uses this knowledge to bring solutions to business units supported to enhance the enterprises competitive edge.
