PROJECT ENGINEER
The individual should be experienced in facility renovation and construction.
Individual(s) shall have a minimum of (5) years-experience in their field of expertise. Personnel shall be experienced with USACE's 3-Phase QC/Inspection process and EM 385-1-1.
Demonstrate experience with reviewing submittals, contractor questions, RFIs, construction schedules, construction deficiencies, project issues, requests for equitable adjustment, and claims; make written recommendations to the COR; compute time extensions; assist in preparing documents for change orders and claims; make technical interpretations of drawings and specifications; provide engineering determinations on meeting the contract requirements; make practicability determinations from a construction standpoint; and utilize Resident Management System (RMS).”
In addition to these requirements, we believe it the client prefers candidates who have a degree in engineering, or something similar such as construction management.
