Account Sales Manager to join their team.
Title: Account Sales ManagerLocation: Torrance, CA
Length of Assignment: PermanentSalary: $80,000-$85,000/yr
JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for day to day management of Account, relating to any and all customer issues. Account Manager is primarily responsible for the daily management of customer accounts relative to their issues. The Account Manager also serves as the liaison between the customer and departments throughout MPA, maintaining effective communication and continued sales growth. Occasional travel to meet with the customer is necessary. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INLCUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO: - Development and distribution of customer-related sales materials, handouts, and presentations
- Keeping abreast with any or all changes and/or issues with customers and potential customers
- Documenting, communicating (through MPA) and resolving all customer issues
- Reviewing customer sales, returns and/or warranty rates
- Conducting customer line reviews in coordination with the MPA Merchandising team
- Resolving and implementing customer pricing and claims issues
- Participation in the implementation of customer sales/marketing and advertising programs, warranty reductions, training and/or manager conferences.
- Reviewing requirements for all customer stock adjustments
- Reviewing daily customer fill rates and shipping
- Reviewing and discussing over-returned product cores from customers
- Coordination of customer product shipments and returns
- Re-box and re-label requests
- Claims requiring immediate examination and feedback to customer
- Coordinating all customer catalog requests and application issues with MPA Catalog Manager
- Updating new customer SKUs with new item load sheet submissions (following line reviews)
- Communicating and implementing price changes to customer program in coordination with MPA Merchandising
- Overseeing customer technical calls (availability, product applications, interchanges and/or installation issues)
- Resolving MPA credit charge issues with customers
- Providing stock availability lists to customers upon request
- Coordinating and establishing new customer accounts with affected MPA departments
- Coordinating any customer or MPA inspired changes in packaging sizes, designs and/or artwork
- Resolving customer backorders (does not apply to ship/cancel accounts)
- Providing new customer price quotations in coordination with MPA Merchandising department
- Attending customer commercial trade shows as necessary in coordination with field services
- Other duties as assigned by the MPA SVP or VP of Sales
OTHER REQUIREMENTS: Travel: 10-20% Education/Experience:Bachelors Degree: Management/Marketing, or equivalent; and/or Minimum 5-10 years automotive aftermarket experience in sales/marketingPreferred proficiency: - Microsoft Applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access, Exchange)
