Contract type: 2-year fixed term

Salary: Grade 4, £27,142 - £28,460. Please note, for internal applicants the salary will be reflected by pay and award policy.

Working arrangements: Standard working hours between 9am – 5pm, Monday to Friday. Hybrid working, with a minimum of 6 days per month in the office.

The Royal College of Physicians is recruiting a Digital Administrator.  

The digital administrator will be a member of a small dynamic team responsible for organising and delivering key aspects of projects or workstreams within the improvement team of the Care Quality Improvement Directorate of the RCP. Workstreams include the patient and carer network and the Medical Care – driving change programme, tasks will include supporting with communication activities, social media, web content and virtual events.

Purpose and scope

Key responsibilities

• Efficient management of group inboxes ensuring the relevant people are informed and responses are escalated when required, prioritised and timely.  
• Scheduling of various stakeholder and content meetings, supporting with agendas and tracking of matters arising.
• Support the delivery of the social media plan and marketing campaigns by creating content, requesting design assets and scheduling social media posts.
• Develop effective relationships across the improvement team and wider RCP establishing regular communication methods.

About you

• Qualification in marketing, business or related field or experience in a similar role.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong organisation and administrative skills.
• Experience of using social media platforms and digital marketing tools to communicate creatively with a wide range of audiences and to build and maintain engagement
