Senior MEP Superintendent | NYCHA

• The candidate will act as a MEP Superintendent for renovation of NYCHA’s East River Houses
• Specifically concentrating on boilers and boiler areas as well as other mechanical equipment
• Coordinates with other contractors and consultants on all MEP work
• Must be capable of examining MEP drawings, and specifications.
• Assist other team members ensuring compliance with regulations and codes
• Advanced knowledge of various construction disciplines-, safety regulations, scheduling, cost control, document control, engineering drawings and other documents, field estimates, subcontracting and procurement, and contract administration.
• Experience managing 2-3 crews (3-15 craft employees) at one time
• Demonstrated ability to efficiently supervise and evaluate performance.

• 10 – 15 years of experience working as a MEP Superintendent on construction projects
• Proven experience working as a Mechanical Project Engineer, Project Manager or Project Superintendent on construction projects
• MUST have boiler experience
• MUST have construction management experience
• OSHA 30 a MUST
• OSHA 62 desired
• Proven experience with residential buildings, apartment buildings
• This is not for design engineers; construction-oriented only
• Familiar working with NYC codes and regulations
• Excellent communication skills
• Proven experience working in a MEP environment with mechanical construction
• Experience working with NYC agencies a plus
