Probate Manager

Hire Resolve is currently working with a reputable UK audit firm, who is seeking a skilled and experienced Probate Manager to join their team.

As a Probate Manager, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing the probate process for clients. You will work closely with executors, beneficiaries, and other stakeholders to ensure the efficient and accurate administration of estates.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee the probate process for clients
• Review and analyze wills, estate assets, and liabilities
• Prepare and file probate applications and associated documents
• Communicate with executors, beneficiaries, and other parties involved in the estate administration process
• Coordinate with legal professionals, financial institutions, and other relevant parties
• Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements
• Provide expert advice on probate matters, including tax implications and inheritance laws
• Manage and resolve any disputes or challenges related to the estate
• Stay current with industry developments and best practices in probate administration
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor
• Prepare and present reports on estate administration progress and outcomes

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Law, Accounting, or a related field
• Qualified Solicitor or STEP/CTA qualified
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in probate administration
• Strong knowledge of probate laws and regulations
• Experience working with executors, beneficiaries, and other stakeholders
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proficiency in probate software and tools
• Professional ethics and integrity
• Ability to handle confidential information with sensitivity and discretion
