Job Summary:
The Manufacturing Shop Assistant supports daily operations in the shop, ensuring a smooth workflow and maintaining a safe and organized environment. This role is ideal for someone who is hands-on, detail-oriented, and eager to learn about manufacturing processes. The priorities shift daily based on the needs of the shop that day. Picking up supplies, assembling tools, and supplying shop bays with parts and supplies.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in supplying the Fabrication team with parts, and raw stock.
Driving to pick up supplies.
Handle and organize materials, tools, and supplies.
Support assembly, packaging, and shipping tasks as needed.
Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, hazard-free environment.
Collaborate with team members to ensure production deadlines are met.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience in a manufacturing or shop environment is a plus.
Basic knowledge of hand tools and machinery operation.
Ability to lift up to 40lbs and stand for extended periods.
Driving a Forklift is a plus.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities and multitasking skills are needed.
Small manufacturing parts welding experience a plus

What We Offer:
Full Time: 40+ hours per week:
2 shifts:
Monday – Friday 6:00 am - 2:30 pm or
Monday – Thursday 6:00 am - 4:30 pm

We offer 100% company-paid Medical, Dental, and Vision for the employee, a 401k with match, PTO, and a boot allowance. The starting PTO accrual is 4.66 hours of PTO earned every pay period.

Pay Range DOE: $19.59 – $23.00
