We are looking for an experienced legal operations professional to join Spotify’s Legal Ops team. Together with the Legal Affairs organization, we deliver efficient, scalable, and innovative support to Spotify’s growing business. We manage and support contract management and outside counsel management; support Legal Affairs strategic planning; and execute legal operations projects.
In this role, you will both provide daily support for, and take ownership of, key legal operations workstreams and projects. You will be responsible for support related to Spotify’s Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) processes. You will also take ownership of various other legal operations projects and support the Legal Affairs team in strategic planning.
What You'll Do
- Manage and optimize our CLM system, ensuring efficient and effective contract processes and workflows.
- Be responsible for daily support and administration of our CLM system, managing high-touch workstreams for Spotify’s most critical contracts.
- Work closely with Spotify’s business and finance teams to support the deal process, ensuring compliant and efficient contract execution.
- Manage and support legal tech solutions and systems, such as legal automation, AI contract review and more.
- Relationship management and negotiation of fee arrangements with Spotify’s external law firms.
- Lead and support various legal operations projects, driving them to successful completion by coordinating with legal and business stakeholders.
- Develop and create efficient structures to support Legal Affairs in planning strategic legal work and contributions across Spotify’s business.
Who You Are
- You have at least 5+ years of experience working in a legal operations role, preferably at an international organization or a large international law firm.
- You have 3+ years of experience supporting contract management processes and managing a CLM system.
- You have a good understanding of legal, contract management, and corporate governance policies, roles, and processes.
- Experience managing relationships with law firms and negotiating fee arrangements are bonuses but not mandatory.
- You can seamlessly bridge the gap between technical, legal, and business teams, aligning technical requirements with legal and business needs.
- You have a proven track record of delivering complex projects with legal and other business stakeholders, preferably across multiple time zones.
- You are able to make risk-based decisions independently.
- You have excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and effectively.
- You are inquisitive and challenge the effectiveness of current processes and procedures, constantly seeking ways to improve.

The United States base range for this position is $84,679-$120,970, plus equity. The benefits available for this position include health insurance, six month paid parental leave, 401(k) retirement plan, 23 paid days off, 13 paid flexible holidays.
