Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct Market Research:
- Gather and analyze data on market trends/landscapes, competitors, and customer preferences.
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations on research findings.
- Identify potential markets and opportunities for business growth.
- Support Business Development Strategies:
- Provide insights and recommendations based on market research.
- Collaborate with the business development team to develop and refine strategies.
- Monitor industry developments and provide timely updates to the team.
- Lead Generation:
- Identify and qualify potential prospects through research and outreach.
- Manage lead databases and track interactions.
- Assist in the organization of business development events and activities.
- Prospect/Client Engagement:
- Schedule and attend meetings with potential clients.
- Assist in the preparation of sales presentations and proposals.
- Follow up on leads and inquiries promptly.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, International Relations, Public Administration, or a related field.
- Experience and knowledge in the following areas is preferred: B2G partnership, enterprise sales, trade & investment promotion, sustainability, climate change & impact, food security, public policy, international development, thought leadership and government relations.
- 2+ years of experience in market research, consulting, or a sales related role.
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken, with the ability to effectively communicate complex ideas and strategic initiatives to a global audience.
- Multilinguistic (i.e. Spanish, French, etc.) skillet is a plus.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Proficiency in market research tools and methodologies.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to travel as needed.
