Help us make a difference as Level 2 Operative at our site in Ipswich, Great Blakenham.
Days of work: Mon – Sun (5 days per week)
Start and finish time: 07:00 – 17:00
A quick look at the role:
- To ensure Health & Safety standards, policies and procedures are observed, maintained and reviewed.
- Ensure quality standards are observed and maintained.
- To assist in the achievement of operational targets.
- Promote and manage change.
- Work flexibly within the Masons MRF Quality team covering other key roles if needed.
- To report in a timely manner Quality issues to your supervisor.

- To maintain H&S standards and performance on site.
- To inspect production before it leaves site.
- Carry out and report about quality of outgoing loads.
- Deal with non-compliance waste.
- Communication with Production team & Quality team.
- Assist in the investigation of accident and incidents.
- Assist the team in the achievement of the sites KPI’s.
- Undertake any training as required and provided by the company.
- Any other additional duties as required by the company.
Requirements
Here’s what we require:
- Previous experience and knowledge gained in the waste sector (Desirable).
- Previous experience in operating a FLT (Desirable).
- Working knowledge of H&S, IOSH (Desirable).
- Attention to details.
- Proactive and positive attitude.
- Able to tolerate a significant amount of routine work.
