Recycling Operative - Level 2

Help us make a difference as Level 2 Operative at our site in Ipswich, Great Blakenham.

Days of work: Mon – Sun (5 days per week)

Start and finish time: 07:00 – 17:00

A quick look at the role:

• To ensure Health & Safety standards, policies and procedures are observed, maintained and reviewed.
• Ensure quality standards are observed and maintained.
• To assist in the achievement of operational targets.
• Promote and manage change.
• Work flexibly within the Masons MRF Quality team covering other key roles if needed.
• To report in a timely manner Quality issues to your supervisor.

• To maintain H&S standards and performance on site.
• To inspect production before it leaves site.
• Carry out and report about quality of outgoing loads.
• Deal with non-compliance waste.
• Communication with Production team & Quality team.
• Assist in the investigation of accident and incidents.
• Assist the team in the achievement of the sites KPI’s.
• Undertake any training as required and provided by the company.
• Any other additional duties as required by the company.

Requirements

Here’s what we require:

• Previous experience and knowledge gained in the waste sector (Desirable).
• Previous experience in operating a FLT (Desirable).
• Working knowledge of H&S, IOSH (Desirable).
• Attention to details.
• Proactive and positive attitude.
• Able to tolerate a significant amount of routine work.
