What will you be doing?
You will report into a Director of Global Strategic Sourcing for Levi Strauss & Co. and will be leading multiple cross-functional projects across key categories of Indirect spend, primarily Technology and Professional Services. You will support delivery of the global Technology sourcing strategy, specifically included are IT Services, Software, Hardware and Telecom purchases.
Additional responsibilities for this position include:
Proven ability to effectively build relationships with stakeholders, peers and leadership and work with cross-functional teams (IT, Finance, Legal, etc.)
Lead conversations with executive leaders both internally and externally about strategic sourcing opportunities and build seamless collaborative engagement with common vision.
Development of sourcing strategy related to specific subcategories of Technology spend
Execution of sourcing projects to contribute to department goals
Drive supplier cost and contract negotiations, ensuring LS&Co. is competitive in the marketplace
Leverage market intelligence (people, database, information, analysis) within categories of focus, regarding key markets, suppliers, and solutions to support strategy development
Strong team player with the ability to consider and incorporate multiple perspectives to drive category objectives.
Develop, distribute and analyze RFP and RFI responses

Up-to-date knowledge in procurement practices & technologies and market trends related to Technology spend

Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree
8+ years relevant experience, minimum 2 3 years Technology sourcing experience
Additional Qualifications
Experience working on business process improvement and/or strategy projects for a global company a plus.
Strong experience with Microsoft Office Suite with advanced skills in Excel.
Solid business judgment, including the ability to anticipate the impact of decisions & initiatives.
Capacity to be a change agent, demonstrating persistence and resiliencies when faced with challenges.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to thrive in a dynamic fast paced environment.
Knowledge of critical procurement legal requirements and contracting best practices
Strong interpersonal communication skills both orally and written as well as in-person and remotely.
Strong presentation skills.
