CFO - Construction $200k to $250k+

Priding themselves on reputation and relationships, the company is very well known and respected in the NZ marketplace for commercial construction, earthquake resilience work and rebuilds and fit outs - all delivered according to client expectations. With an excellent forward workload, the businesses is always looking to improve and to expand operations.

 

The Opportunity

You will, of course, work very closely with the CEO - with a direct reporting line, providing strategic advice, insight and leadership to the broader team. The Executive is looking for someone to "partner" with the leadership team, working collaboratively to improve on financial decision making, managing risk, and nuturing growth. A large part of our focus will be "beyond the rebuild", looking at the longer term aspects of the business. 

 

Skills / Qualifications required

You will be a qualified CA with substantial and relevant construction industry / related experience. With a focus on strategic leadership, you will focus on results and key deliverables. You will be able to substantiate claims where you have improved business performance and reached new levels of financial acheivement, on a consistent basis. As a proven leader, references will suggest that you have a commercial acumen second to none and manage people for outcomes whilst maintaining key relationships. Ideally, you will also have significant and direct experience in managing banking / financial relationships at a high level.
