SUMMARY

Founded in 1999, Norcon is a Chicago-based General Contractor that manages the construction of simple to complex commercial projects as well as high-end residential projects. Norcon completes work all over the country through our Chicago office. We pride ourselves on being client-focused, as well as a leader in today’s progressive construction industry. As a result, we are growing and looking to add a talented Marketing Coordinator to our dynamic firm. As the Marketing Coordinator, you will be involved in all aspects of marketing for a successful and growing construction firm. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with a strong desire to learn, excellent communication skills, and a keen eye for detail.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage RFP process, including messaging, design, and production
  • Create content consistent with Norcon’s brand across all digital and physical channels (social media, web properties, marketing materials, internal and external communications, jobsite signage,etc.)
  • Maintain library of marketing assets including proposal content, digital assets, print collateral, project photography, resumes and bios, video content, website content, etc.
  • Drive initiatives to promote awareness of the company brand for both business development and employer branding
  • Identify award opportunities, and coordinate submission
  • Research the industry’s competitive landscape and marketing trends, and propose effective marketing strategies for Norcon
  • Assist in planning and organizing client and employee functions, client and vendor appreciation events, and career fairs
  • Ensure internal/external templates and project sheets are current, accurate, and user-friendly
  • Additional tasks as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 2-5 years experience in marketing/brand management
  • Architecture/Engineering/Construction industry experience preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Knowledge of all social networking platforms
  • Experience working with In-Design, Adobe, Bluebeam, and Wix
