Roles & Responsibilities
- Specialize in content creation by developing engaging and relevant materials for various platforms, including social media, blogs, and newsletters, ensuring alignment with client branding and messaging strategies
- Implement and monitor projects within a specific set of clients under the direction of senior team members
- Work closely with and support the needs of the client servicing teams. Responsibilities include but not limited to the following:
- Media relations – media monitoring, schedule and coordinate with third parties on events, assist with preparation of press kits, update media list and assist with compilation of reports
- Work closely with senior team members on multiple industry, media landscape research studies across a variety of industries and clients and Edelman internal initiatives
- Assist with project set-up and coordination with multiple service providers
- Familiarity with press release writing, draft pitch emails, conduct and compile research as directed by supervisors
- Help prepare informal and formal client reports and presentation materials
Requirements
- Fluent in English (native or near-native proficiency preferred)
- Previous internship experience in a PR agency or in-house marketing/communications role is advantageous
- Graduates in Marketing, Public Relations and Communications, Language & Translation, Economics or Business, Travel/Hospitality, or Art & Culture are preferred
- Demonstrated ability to quickly grasp and master new concepts
- Strong attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and precision in work
- Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and deliver completed projects in a timely manner.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
- Outstanding written and spoken English and Chinese communication skills are essential, with fluency in Mandarin being a plus
- Basic understanding of the local and/or regional business news media and the communications environment in Hong Kong
- A team player who enjoys collaborating with colleagues and maintaining positive social interactions while keeping client satisfaction at the forefront
- A natural curiosity and eagerness to continually expand knowledge and skills
