Watchman

Eram Talent, a reputable talent acquisition company, is currently seeking a dedicated Watchman to join our client's team. The Watchman will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and security of the premises and its occupants. As a Watchman, your responsibilities will include monitoring and patrolling the premises, performing security checks, and responding to any security threats or incidents. You will also be responsible for maintaining accurate records and communicating with the appropriate authorities as needed. Your vigilance and attention to detail will be essential in preventing unauthorized access and ensuring a safe environment for everyone.

Responsibilities

• Performing regular watchman functions, such as, maintaining a security watch on the assigned facility (buildings, yards and warehouses) and equipment.
• Guarding entrance gate of office building, yard, warehouse or other properties and remaining on the assigned site to maintain constant vigilance.
• Opening gates to allow entrance or exit of employees, authorized vehicles and authorized visitors.
• Recording the plate number of vehicles or other carriers entering and leaving the area.
• Physically checking the facility, inspecting the building, yard, examining doors and windows, and checking for any interruptions.
• Securing the facility and properties by locking offices and turning off lights and other electrical devices, as required.
• Maintaining the required records relating to duties and ensuring clear and accurate log entries are made.
• Responding to any security incident as and when required in a timely and professional manner.

Requirements

• High School level is preferred or an equivalent.
• Three (3) years of relevant experience, preferably as a Watchman.
• Acceptable level of understanding of English to enable effective written or verbal interpretation of messages.
