The Core Data & Insights team builds the technical foundation for data systems behind Atlassian products. We are owners and advocates for the underlying data that powers a coherent experience for our users and drives the pace of innovation for every developer at Atlassian. Core Data's mission is to unlock the power of Atlassian's data – enabling product teams to build the next generation of data-driven innovations for end-users.
Core Data products provide end-to-end data management solutions, infrastructure, experimentation tools, and governance needed to build safe and coherent experiences across Atlassian Products, including Jira, Confluence, Trello and more. The Core Data team is focused on creating an ecosystem of products and solutions that let developers focus on their business logic without worrying about the underlying data infrastructure.
As Head of Technical Program Management (TPM), you will bring executive leadership necessary to transform and drive the data strategy by translating data into insights needed for product innovation. You will drive step-level change leveraging AI/ML and other cutting-edge technologies. Additionally, you will also lead transformation in how we use corporate and user data to run Atlassian more efficiently.
In this role, you will demonstrate innovative thinking, collaborative problem-solving skills, as well as a passion for working in a highly cross-functional environment. This is a unique opportunity to influence important technical decisions across the company on how we use data to build great experiences for our users. You will be working with world-class engineering teams to build central solutions while breaking down technical barriers and strengthening existing systems.

- Expert experience as a senior leader of a technical program management, who has demonstrated skills in influencing the product roadmap and strategy. While also balancing long and short term priorities against various business needs.
- A technical expert in core data, analytics, insights or research
- Experience leading company-wide transformations
- Collaboration experience with engineering and product teams, that drives innovation
- Proven ability to develop and grow talent through effective mentoring, development, coaching, and inspiration with a focus on talent management while instilling a data-driven culture that thrives in a fast-paced environment.
- A relentless customer obsession to ensure their needs are being met
- A knack for going deep in detail but able to zoom out and communicate the headlines
