ABOUT THIS JOB
In Nielsen Online practice, we work with e-giants to help them drive growth via better understanding of consumers at every stage of the journey i.e. realization of a need through to the moment of purchase, followed by how they live with and use products/ services. As a Research Manager, you will work independently and handle specific project phases, which includes implementing the entire project with general oversight from seniors. In this role, you will handle relatively advanced technical tasks and will manage large scale projects.
ROLE DETAILS
- Need to own complete responsibility for a vertical of the account. The vertical will contain. primarily one track and other Ad hoc studies which will all lead to overall managing of the vertical.
- Will need to manage day-to-day administration of client service in terms of keeping the client updated on the progress of the studies, engaging with the client on business objectives and ensuring smooth delivery of the project.
- Need to brainstorm on the proposal and ensure to keep the basic checks in place while reviewing the proposal for Sales team.
- Engage with the operation team to get the costing done and ensure correct specs are shared for costing and any queries from the ops team being handled. Understand other processes as well to get the job opened / launch FW etc.
- Questionnaire preparation / Information area coverage as per proposal.
- Managing the Analysis Plan with a clear idea on what all data is required among with breaks. This will again link back to the study objective and also to reporting structure.
- Understand the data and do basic deep dives to check the data to have the basic findings in place.
- Preparing report in a cohesive story telling way and should be ready with the 1st cut report on their own.
- Understand and implement all internal processes.
- Serve as primary contact to junior level client contacts on ad-hoc analyses and understand and respond to questions on content, basic data issues/questions, report generation, etc.
- Assist senior staff in delivering quality services to clients and ensure the services provided to clients are timely and precise according to client business needs and specifications and at the same time meeting the company's quality standards.
- Provide "in office" research, administrative and operational support to senior staff ∙ Be directly accountable for work conducted for their nominated clients in terms of analyses, charting, etc. and perform quality checks on all reports for alignment to request, accuracy and correctness.
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
- 4 to 6 years’ experience in Market Research-Consumer Insight/Media/Digital
- Hands-on customized market research, agency experience, track experience (E Commerce experience is a plus)
