Point72’s Corporate Access team is responsible for ensuring investment teams have the highest quality corporate access offering and services in support of their efforts to generate superior, risk-adjusted returns. We collaborate closely with the Firm’s investment and Compliance professionals, leverage innovative data and technology, and collaborate and foster effective partnerships with external providers. 

 

Summary

We’re looking for someone to join our Corporate Access team in Hong Kong to provide best-in-class corporate access services to our investment professionals based in APAC. You will develop deep expertise across all sectors in the APAC region while engaging as the day-to-day liaison and act as a relationship manager with Compliance approved-brokers in the region. You will report to the Head of Corporate Access, Asia Pacific, and will be based out of our Hong Kong office.

 

 

What You’ll Do

  • Work directly with all APAC investment teams to address their corporate access needs and priorities
  • Build and maintain a high-quality pipeline of corporate access opportunities/engagements across all sectors
  • Coordinate requests and calendars among investment teams and corporate access service providers
  • Develop and maintain relationships with senior management and corporate investor relations professionals in the region
  • Work closely with the global Corporate Access and Broker Strategy teams to develop and execute a cohesive, firmwide content acquisition strategy
  • Leverage firm developed system and data to scale corporate access efforts, including analytics and reporting to enhance strategy
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure services from providers are consumed in an efficient and compliant manner
  • Maintain relationships with brokers in the region and ensure high quality services are offered
  • Work with investment teams to ensure broker-provided services are properly assessed and that feedback is given on a regular basis
  • Help coordinate the semi-annual Broker Vote process to gather input on corporate access, research, and sales delivery from our investment professionals
  • Partner closely with Compliance to maintain the highest ethical standards

 

 

What’s required

  • Proficiency in spoken Mandarin and written Chinese
  • 5+ years of experience in corporate access, broker relations or a similar role including business development, CRM, sales, research, or other areas within the financial services industry
  • Demonstrated track record of working with senior stakeholders
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure, multi-task, and balance multiple priorities
  • Knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint), Tableau, and a willingness to learn new systems
  • Strong data analytics skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Commitment to the highest ethical standards
  • Fluent in Japanese is a plus
