This role is responsible for multiple pricing projects and analysis as it relates to developments in the tire industry, program management, market positioning, use of systems and tools, and training initiatives. This is a very critical role as we strategically expand our pricing capabilities within Sales Management. Key Accountabilities • Analyze market intelligence and trends to develop price positioning scenarios and proposals • Create and maintain Government and Fleet price lists and related programs • Manage Tire Intelligence relationship and fully maximize use of their product toolbox • Create product pricing exit plans when replacement products are launched • Analyze price points for new product launches using market and internal data • Evaluate and test new pricing related features and developments in SAP • Daily analysis and maintenance of pricing vs. price list • Manage pricing for the winter tire portfolio and related winter programs • Develop and maintain employee and friends & family pricing programs • Document all pricing and programing processes and training initiatives • Evaluate sales results and customer feedback to determine price adjustment opportunities • Maintain pricing and related programs for OE downstreams and aging inventory • Support sales team with pricing and program related needs • Any other applicable projects and analysis assigned by management Level of Accountabilities • Individual Contributor • Decision making can have considerable impact to business • Receives a moderate level of guidance and direction Core Competencies • Analytical skills and mathematical aptitude • Strong collaboration & teamwork skills • Creative thinking and problem solving • Superior communication skills (verbal and written) Qualification • Bachelor degree in Business, Marketing or related area required • At least 5 years experience in Pricing, Sales, or Marketing required • Experience within the tire industry or automotive preferred • Strong working knowledge of SAP and expertise in Microsoft Excel preferred
