This is a major opportunity for a PHP developer to join an exciting company who are passionate about programming, passionate about quality, and truly enjoy what they do. As part of this team, you’ll have an exciting opportunity to be involved in the full project lifecycle for the next generation internal systems which enable our teams to streamline activities across all areas of the business.

What we’re looking for is a self motivated individual to work as a member of our development team.

Responsibilities:

• Creation and implementation of web-based products using PHP OOP, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, PostgreSQL.
• Backend and user-friendly navigation of all company websites.
• Following data security procedures.
• Identify problems and suggest steps for improvement.
• Actively take part in technical discussions and code reviews.

Requirements

• Previous PHP Experience.
• Experience with web technologies including design patterns, PHP OOP, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, PostgreSQL.
• Good understanding of OOP fundamentals. SOLID Principles, Data Structures, Algorithms etc.
• Strong web security knowledge.
• Knowledge about RESTful services.
• Knowledge about common design patterns and good practices.
• Good Understanding of Relational or non-Relational Databases.
• Proficiency in Unit Testing using VS or other Unit testing tools.
• Strong verbal and written English.
• Willingness to learn and improve.
• Ability to accept constructive feedback and take actions accordingly.
• Ability to work unattended.

GOOD TO HAVE:

• Experience with Git version control and branching strategies.
• Experience with AWS services.
• Experience with JIRA.
