We are looking for a full-time Office Manager to join our team, in Central Wimbledon, at a growing tech startup. This role offers the opportunity to showcase your organisational prowess, independence, and proactive approach in a fast-paced environment.

The Office Manager role at Deskpro is perfect if you:

Deskpro is a software company that helps to bring better online customer service to millions of people. Some of our customers include Apple, Microsoft, Valve, P&G, Samsung, Freelancer, HMRC & the NHS.

What will you be doing?

The Office Manager role here at Deskpro is pretty varied and you will be working alongside the Head of Operations to ensure that the office runs smoothly. Some typical tasks may include:

  • Office Organisation: Maintain a well-organized office environment, ensuring efficiency and productivity.
  • Bill Payment: Handle financial tasks and payments for office related activities with accuracy and timeliness.
  • Event Coordination: Plan and execute office events, demonstrating creativity and attention to detail.
  • General Office Duties: Assist with various administrative tasks as needed to support smooth operations.
  • Service Payments: Oversee payments for services, managing accounts responsibly.
  • IT Issue Resolution: Take charge of sorting out IT issues promptly, ensuring minimal disruption.
  • HR Onboarding: Assist hiring managers with the pre-onboarding of new employees, ensuring the process from signed contract to first day, is smooth.
  • Travel Arrangements: Arrange travel plans efficiently for executive team and in-person events, optimising schedules and resources.

Requirements

You will need to be good at context-switching and ideally love keeping multiple plates spinning at once, a positive problem solving attitude alongside a helpful nature, are things that we look for in everyone who joins Deskpro.

  • Experience: 4+ years previous experience as an Executive Assistant or Office Manager is essential.
  • Initiative: A self-starter who can take initiative and work independently to accomplish tasks effectively.
  • Assertiveness: Ability to stand up for oneself and assertively handle various situations as they arise.
  • Flexibility: Willingness to adapt to different project requirements, demonstrating flexibility when necessary.
