Cyber Security Specialist

Razor is looking for a Cyber Security Analyst for a large long-term project within US Government. This individual's primary responsibility will be to perform vulnerability scans, track remediation efforts, and ensure that established SLA timelines are met within VA, so that assigned information systems, devices, and networks can obtain and maintain Authorization to Operate (ATO) and other decisions. This individual will plan and coordinate assessments of information systems and networks to identify vulnerabilities, risks, and security requirements in accordance with the VA A&A process. Secondary responsibilities include testing CCIs, validating Security Plans, weekly status updates, and assisting VA Cybersecurity leadership in the execution and enforcement of VA Cyber Security and RMF process.

You Have:

• 3+ years of experience within Cybersecurity
• 2+ years of experience with Nessus configuration and administration
• In-depth knowledge of policies, procedures, development, and implementation of vulnerability identification, scanning, analysis, remediation tactics, and reporting within an organization
• Experience with securing Linux (RHEL) systems, AWS cloud security, and containerization
• Experience creating system inventories, boundary diagrams, and/or plans of actions and milestones (POA&M)
• BS Degree + 10 years industry exp
• Must qualify for US Government Clearance
