IT Security Plant Location

Under the direction of the Director IT NA, The IT Security will oversee and coordinate security efforts across the company, Help to implement ISO 2700 In North America BU, facilities management and other groups, and will implement security initiatives and standards from Corporate.  The candidate has to be willing to be relocated to Marinette, WI.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Work with outside consultants as appropriate for independent security audits. Has to be informed  about all IT security  related topics Has to be involved  early in any plans or changes in information technology  (e.g. new IT projects, changes in IT infrastructure, changes in general conditions effecting IT security)  Has the right of veto on all decisions concerning his area of responsibility (e.g. initiation  of IT projects, procurement of IT systems, changes of business processes, training of employees) Has the right to report directly to the plant management Has access rights to all areas in which IT is used and related data are processed  as well as to areas dealing with relevant  business processes  and information Supports the company  security  officer in collecting  data related to investigations in case of suspected  criminal acts Performs audits on IT security or initiates audits carried out by independent third parties  and thereby controls the current IT security  level in his area of responsibility. Represents the plant location in the area of IT security management and is obliged to report to IT security  manager  (Corporate Division) on IT security  topics takes necessary emergency measures in co-ordination with the CIO within the emergency management (e.g. disconnection of network                 segments).

 

Represents the plant location in the corporate division IT security board. Reporting to plant manager and corporate IT-Security Manager about status quo in IT security. Contact person to plant manager on IT security issues. Provides internal advice to users on IT security risks. Participates in establishing organization's information security policies and guidelines. Participates in establishing IT security  risk and threat assessments. Ensures  implementation of the organization's information security policies and procedures within the plant location.  Cooperation in IT security related projects. Controls  the implementation and effectivity  of IT security  activities within the plant location. Provides suitable awareness and training courses on IT security. Ensures examination of security-related incidents

Qualifications:

Must have a Technical  knowledge of information technology and security issues. Must have a solid understanding of information technology and information security.  Should have experience with business continuity planning, auditing, and risk management, as well as contract and vendor negotiation. Must have a solid understanding of information technology  and information security.
