Job Title: Electrical Maintenance Technician (2nd Shift)

About Us: Nesco Resource is seeking an Electrical Maintenance Tech for our client in Elmira, NY. Our client is a leading manufacturing company with state-of-the-art facilities dedicated to producing high-quality products. We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Electrical Maintenance Technician for our 2nd shift operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong electrical and mechanical aptitude and be capable of maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing production and plant assets.
Responsibilities:
Perform regular maintenance tasks on manufacturing machinery to ensure their optimal functioning.
Troubleshoot and repair electrical and electronic aspects of production equipment.
Read and interpret electrical schematics to identify issues and make necessary repairs.
Repair, replace, or upgrade faulty components in electrical systems.
Conduct preventive maintenance on machines and equipment.
Collaborate with other maintenance team members to diagnose complex issues and implement effective solutions.
Assist in maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs performed.
Knowledge of plumbing, welding, and light machining is a plus and may be utilized as needed.
Qualifications:
High school graduate or equivalent educational background.
Strong electrical and mechanical aptitude with the ability to repair manufacturing machinery.
Experience in repairing large machines and working with electrical and electronic systems.
Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Knowledge of plumbing, welding, and light machining is a plus.
Experience in industrial power distribution, especially in high voltage systems, is highly desired.
A two-year technical degree in electrical maintenance or a related field is a plus.
