We are in search of an experienced and innovative analog design researcher. <br><br></p><p>Join us as a<br></p><p><strong>Principal Analog Design Research Engineer (m/f/d)</strong><br><br></p><p><strong><strong>Your mission</strong></strong><br></p><ul><li>Spearhead the development of advanced analog circuits for high-speed SerDes and related interfaces, including but not limited to ADCs, DACs, PLLs, CTLEs, and amplifiers</li><li>Define and optimize system-level architectures for high-speed serial interfaces, ensuring power, performance, and area (PPA) targets are met across the entire design</li><li>Develop innovative, cutting-edge solutions to solve complex analog design challenges for high-speed communication systems, focusing on signal integrity, noise reduction, and minimizing jitter</li><li>Perform detailed analog circuit design, simulation, and analysis using industry-standard tools. Ensure designs meet specifications for performance, power consumption, and manufacturability</li><li>Work closely with digital design teams, systems engineers, and physical design engineers to ensure seamless integration of analog and digital components</li><li>Provide technical mentorship and guidance to junior engineers and researchers Lead design reviews, technical discussions, and collaborate effectively across departments</li><li>Lead the validation of prototypes, test chip design, and characterization to ensure all performance targets are met</li><li>Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in high-speed analog design and contribute to the research community through publications, patents, and white papers</li></ul><p> </p><p><strong><strong>Your areas of expertise</strong></strong> </p><ul></ul><ul></ul><ol></ol><ul><li>PhD degree or Master in Electronical/Electronics Engineering or related field</li><li>Several <strong>years</strong> of hands-on experience in analog design and high-speed interface development, particularly in Ethernet/SerDes/DDR, ADC/DAC, PLL, CTLE, and amplifiers</li><li>Expert knowledge of high-speed analog design techniques and methodologies</li><li>Strong hands-on experience with ADC, DAC, PLL, CTLE, and high-speed amplifiers</li><li>In-depth understanding of Ethernet/SerDes/DDR architecture, including channel equalization and clock/data recovery</li><li>Experience in signal integrity and jitter analysis</li><li>Expertise with industry-standard simulation tools (e.g., Spice, Matlab) and verification techniques</li><li>Experience in mixed-signal circuit design and system-level integration.</li><li>Familiarity with SiGe, CMOS, or BiCMOS technologies for high-speed analog circuit design<br></li><li>Strong problem-solving and analytical skills<br></li><li>Fluent in written and spoken Englis<br></li><li>Excellent intercultural communication skills as well as professional leadership.
