Overview: We are looking for an experienced Lead User Experience (UX) Professional to join our team to lead the design and development of user experiences for our product. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of user-centred design principles and should be able to translate complex business requirements into intuitive, user-friendly interfaces.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and development of user experiences for our software and analytical products.
- Create user-centered design solutions that meet the needs of our customers and business objectives.
- Conduct user research and usability testing to identify user needs and validate design concepts.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design consistency and a cohesive user experience across all products.
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and mockups to communicate design concepts to stakeholders and team members.
- Develop and maintain design guidelines and standards to ensure consistency across all products.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to ensure our products remain competitive in the market.
- Mentor other UX professionals in the team.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in UX design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), or related field.
- At least 6+ years of experience in UX design, with a portfolio that demonstrates your design process and impact on business outcomes.
- Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies, including user research, persona creation, wireframing, prototyping, and usability testing.
- Experience designing complex software and analytical products with a focus on data visualization and analytics.
- Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar tools.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Ability to lead and mentor junior UX professionals in the team.
- Experience working in Agile or Lean UX development processes is preferred.
- Experience in designing BI dashboard and query interfaces will be a big plus.
