<p><strong>QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, AND REQUIREMENTS</strong></p><ul><li>A university degree in mechanical engineering or related field ;</li><li>3 to 5 years of experience in automotive, heavy equipment, and truck maintenance or similar roles ;</li><li>Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) and vehicle maintenance software ;</li><li>Strong verbal and written communication skills ;</li><li>Open to national and international candidates fluent in local languages (Swahili, Lingala) or French ;</li><li>Excellent organizational skills ;</li><li>Multitasking and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks ;</li><li>Ability to work independently ;</li><li>Knowledge of general technical standards is an asset.</li><li>Ability to utilize diverse databases effectively.</li><li>Strong analytical, synthesis, and interpersonal skills.</li><li>High moral integrity.</li></ul><p><strong>Essential Functions</strong></p><ul><li>Ensure each staff member is effectively present at their workstation ;</li><li>Support supervision, coordination, and control during various maintenance activities </li><li>Participate in the installation, repair, and maintenance of electronic systems (sensors, printed circuits, control systems, etc.) ;</li><li>Diagnose electrical malfunctions in vehicles ;</li><li>Use diagnostic equipment proficiently ;</li><li>Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs for electronic equipment ;</li><li>Monitor maintenance schedules and ensure adherence ;</li><li>Verify proper operation of machines and tools post-repair ;</li><li>Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards ;</li><li>Design and interpret technical schematics ;</li><li>Research and evaluate new equipment for potential use in maintenance ;</li><li>Update electronic systems according to technological advancements ;</li><li>Perform technical analyses ;</li><li>Analyze and prepare spare parts requirements for submission to the Logistics Department ;</li><li>Track the consumption and availability of necessary spare parts and equipment ;</li><li>Fill in intervention tracking logs ;</li><li>Maintain cleanliness in vehicle maintenance areas ;</li><li>Enforce internal procedures and technical regulations ;</li><li>Manage personnel aspects such as performance evaluations, conflict resolution, and worker grievances, submitting them to the Logistics and HR Departments ;</li><li>Record recurring maintenance issues for statistical analysis ;</li><li>Collect feedback to improve service quality ;</li><li>Communicate regularly with superiors to exchange information and find common solutions to problem.</li><li>Oversee the refueling of generator sets and forklifts ;</li><li>Email daily vehicle maintenance reports to the Maintenance Manager with copies sent to the Logistics Director ;</li><li>Periodically hold information and orientation meetings (instruction application) with staff ;</li><li>Ensure proper use, maintenance, and repairs of tools and installations ;</li><li>Perform any other duties assigned.</li></ul> •
