Accounts Payable Senior Associate

Responsibilities: 

• Responsible for full cycle AP: invoice entry, data processing, approval routing, and payments
• Research information to provide accurate and timely solutions to internal clients and vendors at multiple locations
• Understanding and knowledge of EU VAT & International GST
• Vendor account reconciliations and statement review to actively resolve overdue vendor accounts
• Consistently meet deadlines and identify/escalate any issues to Accounting Manager
• Verify the accuracy of vendor invoices and confirm that the correct general ledger account codes are used
• Generate payment to vendors on a routine schedule and match the check with backup for review by the financial manager 

Requirements:  

• 3-5 years of experience with accounts payable
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Oracle R12 experience required
• Experience using CitiDirect and JPMorgan banking platform preferred
• Be able to work collaboratively with other team members and independently
• Excellent verbal and communication skills with focus on customer service
• Manage and organize vendor files 

Education and Experience:  

• Bachelor’s degree and at least 2 years of related experience; or an advanced degree without experience; or equivalent work experience preferred .
• Experience processing invoices for European vendors preferred
