The Role

• Work on large complex delivery projects within agile PODs as the SME for Azure, to give insights, experience and solutioning options to delivery teams
• Advise our clients on leveraging the Azure Cloud services
• Able to navigate ambiguity and complexity honing into specific client goals
• Able to think critically and creatively to shape a consulting engagement
• Work in agile teams with internal and external clients as a Solution Architect
• Work with DevOps engineers and other Azure Solution architects to review and implement enterprise solutions
• Contribute to the development of internal Azure artifacts to help with our offerings and solutions
• Technically support sales opportunities and bid teams as the SME for Azure
• Coach and work closely with your peers sharing your experiences and insights
• Present to customers in sales and pre-delivery workshops 

Requirements

About You

Ideally you will have a strong career progression to date and have experience working with recognised consulting brands on multiple large enterprise clients with a focus from financial customers within retail or investment banking.

Your experience will include:

·       5+ years of consultancy experience from a GSI (Global System Integrator)

·       Experience as working as an Azure Solution Architect on customer delivery projects

·       Core Industry experience from Financial services

·       Experience in the following: Migration & Transformation projects onto Azure

·       Expert knowledge in Azure on IaaS & PaaS services with a good understanding of IAM and Networking, security controls, along with understanding of IaC and DevOps pipelines.  

·       Strong communication and presentation skills

·       Knowledge of FinOps cost control for Azure

·       Certifications: AZ-305

·       Able to build strong and effective business relationships with internal and customer technical teams

·       An outstanding communicator with the ability to articulate solutions to problem solving

·       Able to work collaboratively in a fast moving and ambiguous environment under time pressures

·       Able to work with DevOps and Data Engineers and to communicate and articulate with project managers and senior Azure architects

·       Certifications in AZ-900, AZ-205, AZ-104, DP-300, DP-203 are a benefit.

·       Willing to travel if needed

·       Languages: Fluent in English
