The Position
Our community bank client is seeking to fill a Commercial Real Estate Lender role in the Oak Brook, IL market. This position will be responsible for soliciting multifamily and commercial real estate loans for the Bank from present customers, other investors, real estate brokers, and other real estate loan referral sources.The position includes a generous salary of up to $95K plus bonus and an attractive full benefits program.Commercial Real Estate Lender responsibilities include:
- Originating analyzing, structuring, and closing profitable CRE loan transactions.
- Visiting clients and prospective clients regularly, interviewing and analyzing the financial structure of customers and prospects, and recommending products or applicable services.
- Providing guidance and direction to the bank’s internal support personnel to ensure proper and accurate completion of loan transactions and day-to-day operational requirements.
- Reviewing and analyzing commercial loan reports, direct liability, non-performing, new loans, and payments.
- Build effective relationships and trust with clients and potential clients by listening to and uncovering their needs and educating them about the bank products and services that are most appropriate for their situation.

- Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Accounting/Economics or equivalent work experience.
- Five years of Commercial Real Estate lending experience.
- Experience and general knowledge of negotiating, structuring, and closing commercial loan transactions.
- Ability to present proposals to clients and recommend loan transactions to bank senior management.
- Strong analytical and credit skills.
- Strong computer skills and experience with Anointed Cash Flow Analysis.
- Experience utilizing Contact Management Software such as Salesforce.
- Great Leadership Skills.
