We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Program Manager to join our team and lead the successful execution of our security technology programs.
As a Program Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, development, and execution of multiple security technology programs within our organization for Enterprise Accounts. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, operations, sales, Finance and customer support, to ensure the successful delivery of our security solutions to our clients. You will be a key driver in achieving program objectives, ensuring quality, managing risks, and delivering projects on time and within budget.
Responsibilities:
1. Program Planning and Execution:
· Develop comprehensive program plans, including scope, deliverables, timelines, and resource allocation.
· Coordinate with stakeholders to define program objectives and requirements.
· Monitor and track progress of programs, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
· Must have a strong financial background and excel at managing budgets, conducting revenue forecasting, and overseeing invoicing and collections processes with precision and expertise.
· Identify and mitigate potential risks, proactively addressing issues to maintain program momentum.
· Manage program dependencies and facilitate effective communication across teams.
· As a program manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and coordinating projects across multiple locations, necessitating occasional travel to ensure seamless execution and stakeholder engagement.
2. Cross-functional Collaboration:
· Collaborate with engineering, product management, operations, and sales teams to align program objectives with business goals.
· Foster effective communication and collaboration among team members to ensure program success.
· Act as a liaison between internal teams, clients, and external partners to ensure smooth program execution.
3. Resource Management:
· Identify and allocate appropriate resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials, to support program activities.
· Manage and monitor resource utilization, adjusting as necessary to ensure optimal efficiency.
· Participate in the interviewing and hiring process, specifically for technicians and IT staff who may be dedicated to the Program Management Office (PMO).
4. Program Quality and Delivery:
· Establish and enforce program management best practices and standards.
· Conduct regular program reviews to assess performance and identify areas for improvement.
· Ensure that all program deliverables meet the highest standards of quality and customer satisfaction.
· Implement effective change management processes to address program scope changes and requirements.
· Regularly engage with customers to ensure their utmost satisfaction, actively participating in meetings, surveying project progress, and addressing their needs throughout the entire development lifecycle.
5. Stakeholder Management:
· Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and ensuring program alignment.
· Provide regular updates to stakeholders on program progress, milestones, and risks.
· Address stakeholder concerns promptly, seeking resolutions that maintain client satisfaction.
· Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, business administration, or a related field.
· Proven experience (7+ years) in program management, preferably within the physical security or technology industry.
· Strong understanding of security technologies, including surveillance systems, access control, intrusion detection, etc.
· Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex programs from initiation to completion.
· Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
· Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
· Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools.
· Project Management Certification (PMP) or Certified Security Program Manager (CSPM) certification.
